Achievements

The Dharmawickrma Girls' College Kandy emerged Overall Champions at the Central Province Tournement Meet 2022. The meet was held at the Pushpadana Girls College Kandy on the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th of September 2022.

The meet featured schools from all across the Central Province representing 15 Zones.

The athletes were selected to participate for this meet through their Zonal Music Meets which were held earlier in the year.

It is noteworthy that the Dharmawickrama Girls; College Team last achieved this feat 18 years ago. It is no easy task to win the Provincial Meet, as their is a tight competition from the other schools that take part.

Walala A Ratnayake Maha Vidyala was in the limelight for over a decade, and Trinity College stole back the spotlight in the T150 Sesquicentennial Anniversary Year.

The standings of the school’s were as follows,

1st – Trinity College, Kandy – 170 Points
2nd – Walala A Ratnayake Maha Vidyala – 122 Points
3rd – Ambagamuwa Maha Vidayala – 88 Points
